Advanced Squad Leader (ASL) is a tactical-level board wargame that simulates combat actions of approximately company or battalion size combat units in World War II. The counters depict squads of infantry, gun crews, individual leaders, support weapons, heavy weapons, tanks, armored fighting vehicles and softskins such as jeeps and trucks.

Roland the Headless Thompson Hero Counter - 29 October 2019 258kb
Warren would have wanted it this way.

Sturmtiger AFV Card - 03 May 2004 201kb
Yes indeedy-doody, just like the kind AH used to make. This two-sided card (lots of special rules) is in Adobe Acrobat format. There is a smidge of colour, so you might want to output it on a colour copier, but a laser will do just fine.

TCA Counters for 75mm M4 Shermans - 18 April 2004 138.5kb

TCA Counters for King Tigers - 18 April 2004 159.1kb

TCA Counters for SS Panthers - 24 August 2002 190kb
Okay all you freaks who like your SS counters black (personally, I prefer mine Dunkelgelb with a splash of Rotbrun and Olivgrun, but that's just me) here be the Panther TCA counters in black.

TCA Counters for Panthers - 20 August 2002 503kb
Sick of those generic, lame-looking TCA counters that are the ASL standard? Check these puppies out -- the first in an ongoing series of BU/CE TCA counters for specific vehicles. This file actually contains a few different versions of said counters with increasingly detailed amounts of information (the example on the right is the most basic version). Let me know what iteration y'all would prefer for future counters at asl@howardhowardfine.com

DIY ASL Counter Type Guide - 24 March 2002 398kb
For the budding do-it-yourself ASL counter maker, a handy guide to the typefaces you'll need to do it all proper-like.

Maus AFV Card - 15 November 1998 51.3kb
Yes indeedy-doody, just like the kind AH used to make. This two-sided card (lots of special rules) is in Adobe Acrobat format. There is a smidge of colour, so you might want to output it on a colour copier, but a laser will do just fine.

Maus Counters - 15 November 1998 477kb
Four Panzerkampfwagen Maus counters, numbered A - D, in Adobe Acrobat format. For best printing results, get 'em output on a colour copier. If you don't have one at work, just go to yer local Quickie-Print or whatever and spend a couple of bucks -- it's worth it.
